Photo Albums
These are photo albums of the work that I have done for clients and for fun. I try not to edit photos that much as I feel that they look better with the usual camera settings which I try to get correct for the subject upon shooting.
Contact me if you would like to potentially hire me to photograph events, products or other occasions.
WorldSkills UK LIVE
WorldSkills UK is a organisation that changes the lives of young people through skills - the 81 members of this organisation who aim to "raise the profile and recognition of skilled people."
There is also a competition element to this company that is offered to students around the United Kingdom.
This competition is sent to each college, who are tasked to create two teams of four - later, the company sends a brief which asks these teams to create a detailed portfolio and a video advertisement that promotes WorldSkills. This advert much reach the brief's requirements and will also be judged by a panel.
Around 3,000 people take part in WorldSkills each year, followed by, approximately, 450 people getting into the semi-finals. Furthermore, about 125 medals are given to different specialisms when the finals come around.
The Hedge Your Assets team and I where entered into the semi-finals and placed top 10 in the UK; the camera operator later joined the other team from our college and was invited to the finals at the NEC in Birmingham, where we (the Hedge Your Assets team) will be supporting their efforts in November 2019.
Photoshop Practice
When I started college, I had no experience with Adobe Photoshop but I knew that editing, poster making and graphic design where things that I was interested in exploring.
Knowing my interests in design, I used free time to begin creating small, rough edits and payed attention whenever my tutors set Photoshop related tasks for the class.
Eventually, and quite evidently, my interests ended up lying in posters, magazine covers and newspapers. These where my strong suit on Photoshop.
After a years experience with Photoshop, I have begun creating these front covers, which are more professional-looking and I have come up with my own brand. "#FeatureOctothorpe", this is a fake temporary brand for my magazines so that I am not using a pre-existing company such as 'Time'.
These two magazine covers where not made using Adobe Photoshop, instead I decided to test my skills on my iPad using an Apple Pencil on an app called SketchBook. If I am unable to access Photoshop, then I will use this app - an consequently, I feel I get better results.
I'm Sorry.

SCENE 1. NIGHT - DARK ROOM IN HOUSE
Sound Fades In:
(SOUND OF HEAVY BREATHING - FROM ONE INDIVIDUAL. RUSTLING HEARD FROM A CHAIR OR BED DIPPING AS SOMEONE SITS ON IT. LACK OF ECHO AS ROOM HAS LOTS OF FURNITURE - ROOM IS IN A MODERN ENGLISH HOUSE, 2017. QUIETLY, A MAN STARTS SPEAKING)
ELIJAH SACTON
(SULLEN, SOUNDING DEPRESSED)
Something happened. I did something... bad. But it wasn't my fault. Not that they'll believe that... it was dark and there was barely any room to move around... and we fell... then we ran and I left him there...
(SOUND OF A FLASHBACK)
KELLY BURTROM
(URGENTLY)
Jesus, why is it so dark, Eli? Can you find the light?
ELIJAH SACTON
(WORRIED)
I don't know, I don't want to move. Maybe we should leave, Kelly... Forget this whole ordeal.
KELLY BURTROM
(SERIOUS)
No Eli, we planned this whole thing weeks ago, you can't put it off anymore, this is the perfect time to do it - the owners are away this weekend anyway! Just find the light.
ELIJAH SACTON
Okay, okay... Just, stand there, don't move.
KELLY BURTROM
(QUIETLY)
Alight.
(FOOTSTEPS ARE HEARD ON A WOODEN FLOOR, FOLLOWED WITH THE CREAK OF FLOOR BOARDS. A LIGHT SWITCH FLICKS AND KELLY SIGHS IN RELIEF)
KELLY BURTROM
(QUICKLY)
Okay, look around, bag whatever looks expensive, leave the rest.
ELIJAH SACTON
Got it!
(RUSTLING IS HEARD FOR A FEW SECONDS, FOLLOWED BY THE A FAINT OPENING OF A DOOR IN THE DISTANCE. ALL MOVEMENTS STOP AFTER THE DOOR CLOSES)
KELLY BURTROM
(WHISPERING)
Eli, was that you?
ELIJAH SACTON
(WHISPERING)
No... It wasn’t.
KELLY BARTROM
(WHISPERING)
Shit...
RYAN PEFITT
This is the Police, if there’s anyone in here come out with your hands above your head!
ELIJAH SACTON
Kelly, just hide, don’t leave.
KELLY BURTROM
Do you have your knife?
ELIJAH SACTON
Yes, now hide.
(LIGHT FOOTSTEPS HEARD AS KELLY AND ELIJAH HIDE. HEAVIER FOOTSTEPS APPROACH (RYAN PEFITT))
RYAN PEFITT
You can’t be in here- AHH!
(TWO LOUD SHOUTS FOLLOWED BY THE SOUND OF SOMEONE FALLING OVER CAN BE HEARD AND HEAVY BREATHING)
KELLY BURTROM
Jesus Elijah, what did you do to him? Is he dead!?
ELIJAH SACTON
I didn’t... He wasn’t supposed to die! I just wanted to buy us some time!
KELLY BURTROM
Shit, we need to fucking go, like now!
(THE SOUND OF TWO PEOPLE RUNNING AWAY CAN BE HEARD, FOLLOWED BY THE SOUND OF A DOOR SLAMMING SHUT. THE SOUND OF THE FLASHBACK CAN BE HEARD AGAIN)
ELIJAH SACTON
Kelly... She must have told someone, probably the Police for her immunity. The stupid bitch, if she’d have just shut up we would’ve been fine!
(A SIGH FROM ELIJAH)
ELIJAH SACTON
I didn’t mean to... We just fell and the knife didn’t go where I wanted it to go and... I just want people to know that I’m sorry. I'm sorry for the Police Officer. I'm sorry for the family that found him in their house. I'm sorry for the family who lost him. I'm so, so sorry... I don’t want to go to prison.
(POLICE SIRENS CAN BE HEARD IN THE DISTANCE, SLOWLY GETTING LOUDER AS THEY APPROACH THE HOUSE ELIJAH IS IN)
ELIJAH SACTON
(SOUNDS LIKE HE IS CRYING)
Please... I'm sorry.
